I'm thinking about getting an African Dwarf Frog... I think I posted here about it months ago... There is an opening on the tank lid where the filter goes. It's one of those filters that has the filtered water come down into the tank like a waterfall... not sure what it's called, but it doesn't need an air pump. Anyway, I think I could cover most of the opening with tape or something (No sticky sides, so it can't hurt the fish if they jump for some reason) and the water would still be able to get into the tank. There is about a little less than a 3/4 inch gap between the tape and filter if I do this. Will the frog still be able to get out? the current is not strong at all. Pleez help!! *BOUNCINGS

The filter is called a hang on filter i think!!

those kind of frogs like to get out of the tank?
I was thinking of getting one.... and wasn't even
thinking that they would try to escape....

they shouldn't... they are aquatic frogs.... I just don't want to take any chances of finding a dried up frog on the couch one day!

many aquatic fish will try to leave the tank, eels escape all the time
