I have a 120litre tank with Tetra and 10 Cory in it, but one of my Corys (one of the first fish added 2 months ago) has started acting very oddly!
He normally snuffles around the tank with his mate but since yesterday he has started just lying on the bottom of the tank for hours on end, occassionaly going to the surface, swimming for about 30 seconds and then lying on the bottom again.
I have tested the tank and my readings are :
Temp - 75o
PH - 6.5
Ammonia - 0
GH - 6-10
KH - 0-3
Nitrate - roughly 50 (Sorry for vague readnig, using Tetra 5 in 1 test strips and not the greatest readings!)
Nitrite - 0
No other fish (either Cory or Tetra) are showing any other signs of illness or strange behaviour and the only change to the tank is the addition of 12 new tetra (all absolutely fine) and the introduction of some new plants to the aquarium.
Does anyone have any ideas?
