Adults and babies?

I have one 7 yr old Jack Dempsey and I wanted to buy more fish as his friends(parrots) have passed away. Can I buy parrot and Jack Dempsey babies or do I have to get adults. My Jack use to play rough with the parrots so I don't want any hurt fish. He never hurt the parrots and vs versa.

I would recommend that you buy an adult size Dempsey that is around the same size as your other one.If you added a juvenile then his chances of survival would be slim do to being picked on,bit,chased or even killed by the adult.Not saying not to do it.I just wouldnt recommend it.Greater chances with buying an adult Dempsey!
