I just recently bought a Hillstream Loach...my friends and I noticed them at Wal-Mart and decided to save them from the horrible conditions....ANYWAY...I put him in my 10g with my goldfish...he seems to be adapting well, but what I find weird is that he just stays in one general area. He never seems to move outside this area...I'd say this area he likes to stay in is about 3 inches.....is this normal behavior because he will be there for hours. Only when i get up in the morning is he hangin on the front..plz help*GOLDFISH*

is he right by your filter? Hillstream loaches need high water flow and oxygen in the water. And they really aren't super active fish, so don't expect them to be moving around too much. They usually pick a spot that has the highest flow and stay there.
