African dwarf frog

i really would like to keep an African dwarf frog but im scared i want be able to feed it, wat should i feed them?

Where would you keep it? That'd be my first worry above what to feed it..

well i have my lil 2.2 gallon tank, would it be ok?

I think most would agree minimum of 5 or 10 gallons to itself.. though I've never kept them. A few on here have though so I'll let them advise you

ADF don;t need a lot of space. You could do two in the 2gal tank.

Feeding is tough. Some can hand fed, and some will just never find the food becasue of the poor eyesight.


You may go through a few frogs to find two that do well.

Try feeling them with a turkey baster...some will learn to eat right from it.

I hear ya.... I don't keep them becasue of the extra work.

I like to stare at my fish......not do all this other crappy work that goes with fishkeeping!

AMEN! thats me, i like to sit and watch them zip around. Though i do enjoy the occasional big cichlid fight.

How do you feel about Danios? Those darn things make me feel motion sickness.

I've never seen a cichlid fight. They wouldn't go well in my tank so I have avoided them.

Zebra danios give me a headache, just to much movement. Go to youtube and type in something such as Jaguar cichlid vs Red Devil and watch it. I think its fun to watch the territory battles but putting them in there just to fight i dont like
