They might eat the pellets, but if they are picky eaters will eat frozen bloodworms or brine shrimp. They might jump out the top of the tank, so keep the water level about 3 inches from the top of the tank and put a screen over the top. For more info go to allaboutfrogs.org , and go to frenquently asked questions, then click on the species caresheet. It's a great site! good luck! ;D

Where'd ya get them?  Ask someone there.  They might know more.  I've seen "Frog Food" pellets.  I'm sure they eat prepared foods probably eat shrimp pellets but you want to find out what's their "ideal" diet.  Sorry , I don't have the answer.

They kept a couple @ my daughter's pre-school, in a 20G community tank I set up.  I know they ate shrimp pellets and they seemed happy.  Don't know what happened to them though.  It was felt that they did escape.

They sell some pretty inexpensive molded plastic "critter cages".  They come in sizes up to about 5gal.  They have secure tops and can accommodate an airstone or very primative bubble filters and a submersible heater. Hagen makes a very nice 20W mini submersible but even that may be too big for a 5G.  Anywaze, I don't think these frogs need alot of complicated care.  I know the bigger ones can live at least four or five years.  Don't know bout the dwarves.

So if I were you I'd invest in a large plastic Critter cage.   They come with a tight lid.  I'm sure you can get one for $12 or so.  And look into Frog Pellets.  I think they're made by O.C.M. or Tetra.  And do what gypsy says

good luck
