Africans and Angels?

I know this is probably going to sound completely stupid, but are angels compatible with africans? My gut instinct is telling me no, but I've heard some stories of some really wicked angels that rip little dudes apart, and have a feeling that the angels could take care of themselves with africans. So basically, I was just wondering if a pair of large angels would fair ok with my chichlids.

No they arn't. Angels are to timid compared to africans.

Absolutely definitely NO. Can't get that across quite strong enough.

Angels are only tough compared to wussy fish like tetras and platies. Angels would be SHREDDED by most african species, with very, very few exceptions like A. thomasi or maybe kribs.
