I have a Dalmation Molly, and when I changed the water yesterday.. it seemed to go into a "loner" stage.  It swam at the bottom of the tank and didn't eat.  It's better now.. but wonder why she didn't swim after the change and stayed down there for so long.. any ideas? ::)

I've seen a similiar reaction with my betta, who is in a 10 gallon tank.  I'm no expert but it could have been shock from the temp or ph change.  Did you treat the water to eliminate the chlorine before putting it in the tank?

Im thinking the same! Maybe the change shocked the fish and it had to adapt to the change. How big is your tank and how much water did you change?
