Air Pump Calculations

I know that air pumps are rated for a certain amount of gallons, but I would assume as you split the airline for more accessories, you would need a larger pump.

Is there a good way to determine how powerful an air pump you need if you are using more than one thing on an air line?

Just buy the big 4 port one. This way you should have plenty. Most of these also have a control knob.

I agree with KcMopar, I always buy the largest air pump, then also purchase a set of gang valves,
