I purchase 3 albino barbs from lfs. 2 of them had some kind of jaw issues( there mouths were stuck open. Other fish are all fine, I have the two in a separate tank and treating with melix. Was wondering if this is some kind of mouth fungus. I went back to my lfs store and fish in tank have same issue. Is this a result of over breeding with this species. This tank currently hold 6 tigers 3 ottos and a rainbow shark. The other fish in tank show no signs of this condition. Out of the three albinos' one is fine and happily chasing everyone around only the two have the open month issues. I'm treating my 30 gallon with the melix as well.
