Algae eating shrimp

I recently got 2 "algae eating shrimp" i think they might be amano shrimp. Anyways, they are never out, and only hide under a rock. I know they are alive because i see them move around under it. 1 of them molted about 4-5 days ago, so maybe that is why. But my question is why don't they ever come out? could it be my corys and pleco scares them?
