I have checked more the 10 places even online. There is no product on the market which kills brown algae. if you know of one let me know. It is caused by high silicates, nitrates or less lighting.

hmm ok now I totally confused. Usually Brown algae can be rubbed off. Is it possible that it might not be brown algae? Is the brown spot in the tank where there is water?
