The day after i got live rock some brown algee started to form on a coral skeleton in my tank. Is this because i didn't leave the lights off for four days after i got my live rock? Is there ne thing i can do to control it? Thanks

this is pretty normal...part of the process...once you are sure your rock was actually cured, and your levels are ok, get that cleaning crew in there...read wayne's post at the top of this topic ("step by step setup" or something along those lines) for more info

This is totally normal diatom growth. If this is surprising you spend the next week researching before green algaes start to replace it.

S.A.T is relatively new to the market...its a number of different bacteria that help stabalize your tank. The bacteria consume the nutrients the nuisance algaes feed on. We have customers that buy a bottle of this and in a month there tank is algae free.
