i put some fungus stuff <Jungle tank buddies Fungus Clear>in my tank 4 days ago due to a fish that was acting like it had the flukes or had fin rot, i couldnt isolate the one fish cause he still was fast and hid in all the rock, i was afraid the other fish was going to catch it also so i treated the whole tank, my tank is a light green color, now for 4 days, i was going to redo my tank on monday, new substrate and rock, the question is do i want to keep this green water ?, i was going to save 50% of my old water when i first planed the redo the tank, now i dont want this green water, and i dont want to start with total new water either, what should i do

The carbon in your filter will eventually filter out this foul color but a series of small water changes could easily clear up the color. By the way why would you want to totally restart the tank? If you do so the tank will have to recylce and that isnt a good thing.

yeh go with what depth C said, i once put lemon juice in my tank to lower the ph cuz it got way too high. And my tank was really cloudy and yellowy, i added carbon to my filter and after say a week of small waterchanges the water got clearer and clearer.

im not happy with the way my tank looks, i kinda jumped in when i first got it, and the kids had given me things to go in it for christmas, and i got 50 lbs of holey rock now and some medium sand instead of colored gravel, ill post some before and after pics when i get it finished, im keeping my 2 filters media <emperor400 and topfin 60> and like i said 50% of the water
