well to begin where it all began....First thing, i happened to walk threw a thrift store about 2 weeks ago and i happen to find a 2 gallon hex set up for $1.99 so i picked it up, i walked around some more and found a whisper 10-20 power filter for $6.00, wow what my luck huuh?Well in my 2 gallon hex i put 2 simple baby gold fish in it for my baby boy, as for the filter I DIY'D a carbon filter and added it to my 10 gallon non aggressive tank(mind you i still have to get to the part of where i put my filter that i took off the 10)
Ok second thing, a week later i went back to the thrift store lookin for some kinda stand for my 55 gallon(anything was better than our kitchen counter) and right away i strolled across a 29 gallon full set up(including plants, air pump, underground filter, pulsar power filter, lights, hood and under water heater) All for $26.00.....WOW*celebrate Well i set up the tank with established water, filter and gravel(from my 55 gallon and 10 gallon)I put in 12 blue Gourami 's, 3 Paradice Fish,2 kissing Gourami 's, 1 dwarf flame Gourami ,3 dwarf Gourami 's and (i know yell at me) 6 red-bellied pacu
Well to add to that i added the filter from my 10 gallon so now i have the pulsar power filter and a aqua clear 10-20.
and the under gravel filter.....
Ok third thing, I am trying some thing new besides fish.....I baught 2 Fiddler Crabs, went to the beach(froze my a$$ off )and got some beach sand and some rocks...to this day they are doin great.
well thats about..oh ya i tested al my tanks tonight and everything comes out perfect
