Amano Shrimp

Will my betta eat amano shrimp? I have algae in my tank and think buying one might be a good idea... but I don't want the betta to it eat!

I haven't tried this combo. Maybe you can try some ghost shrimps there first and see how your betta react to them. If your betta doesn't bother ghost shrimps, amano shrimps should be safe to go in.

speaking of Amanno shrimp, I just returned
from a lfs and saw them for the first time....
I bought 5 @ $1.99 each.
I am going to put them in a 37g tank with
lots of java moss and 15 lemon tetras and
a bunch of cory cats.

I have never seen lemons grab any ghost
shrimp before, but I've seen the blood-fins
in my 55g get them all the time.
