Amoeba or some sort of worm?

more recently i noticed small worm like organisms on the glass of my 30. My algae eater stirred the gravel up about 5 minutes ago kick up what are now much larger worms? roughly 5mm in length. They are small and white. Should this be a concern?

It's most likely planaria. Almost all worms found in tanks are harmless.

They usually multiply when there's an excess of food in the tank. Feeding less and cleaning the substrate more should reduce the numbers of worms.
