I have a question about my albino Ancistrus. He has eaten almost all the alage in the tank :D so now I need to figure out what to feed him/her. Any sugestions would help. I have tried a cucumber and lettuce and I didn't see him eat any of it. Unfortionately I have 3 evil fish ( 1 Angelfish and 2 gold gouronimies) who eat my cories bottom food and would probly do the some to the Bristle-nose. Please help!

Do you know of any good foods to try? I am kinda catious about trying to feed him at night since I had some fish die doing that. I guess they mistaked each other for food:)

try zucchini. weight it with a metal clip like the kind that they use to bunch plants. And no offence but I really don't think it is possible for fish to die because you fed them at night, that makes absolutely no sense if you think about it.

That still has nothing to do with the time of day you are feeding, what I would guess, not knowing what kind of fish you have is maybe the species you have are incompatible, or the fish that died had something wrong with them. All fish nip and chase at feeding time but if your tank is properly stocked this won't result in death, no matter what time of day you feed.
