Yeah... I have gotten a little carried away. Especially since I am headed to college soon and can't bring all eleven tanks with me. :(

But I plan to bring some of my baby betta boys with me. :)

My man, gomez, and the runner up, flame, both died recently. :( Flame got a horrid case of fin rot that I could not cure no matter how hard I tried. He was my pretty boy and I miss him. :(
But now I have room for a pretty HM male that I found on the net. :) I just have to make it worth my while to spend twenty dollars on a fish.

And Success with the breeding. I kept loosing them, but I still have ten! It's sad when they die, but I think the girls were picking on alot of the others and killing them slowly, and I don't know why some of my boys died. I'll post pictures of my babies soon. :)

Anyways, I now have myself a nice 30 gallon tank that I bought at a garage sale for 20 bucks (a real steal, it came with EVERYTHING and a bunch of food and nets and things. The filter doesn't work, but hey, it was still a steal)
And I have my first sand tank up and running with the proud mama betta mortica in it crusin around. :) she has several snail buddies in there, and I made a really pretty decoration from some silicon and fake flowers that I put in there that looks really good.

:) Just updating on my tanks! Things are going great for once in my large one... Knock on wood

newbies be warned! MTS is highly contagious!
bettas are addicting. You keep seeing incredibly gorgeous ones and you just want more more more! Lucky for me I just have 1 splenden (and uncountable imbellis)

Good deal!! You can pick up cheapo filters on ebay if your not interested in paying alot. I've seen some pretty good ones for $5 (includes shipping ) So whatcha thinking of stocking this tank with??

The filter is one of those that hooks one the back, and it just won't run. It will make crinkly noises like it wants to, but other than that it won't suck. oh well, I still love it. :) And I want to try my hand at sand in this tank too, and maybe put a few ciclids or an oscar in there for a while. (and yes, I know the oscar will have to be moved to a bigger tank eveuntually)
And I cleaned out my passel of fish accessories today and found three heaters that I'm not using and a bunch of weekend food that I didn't realize that I had, as well as algae cleaner and things of that nature. Go figure.... Time to make some posts on craigslist!

Anyone have any ideas on what it would be fun to stock this tank with? I want something kind of different...
