And now I'm back from, from OUTERSPACE.

So, I'm back after a while from being down. I moved from one place to another three and a half hours away. That was a giant fun day filled with rubbermaid containers. Now, months later, I had a fish die and now I'm back. I guess the little bugger rejogged my memory about this site. Anyways new fun story about thinking my tank had a leak, then didn't have a leak, then did. Anyways I destroyed one new stand and emptied the tank and low and behold it was the filter over flowing from the back down a corner, so I couldn't see it until the tank was almost empty. Dang I love those eclipse two hoods! Oh and PS no more curtains to soak up my 55!

I had a 12 gallon acrylic eclipse and the plastic ring around the top of the tank for the hood to sit on was not sealed or glued on, I never thought much of it creating a siphon when filled to that level but it did, it was a slow drip and it created a puddle of saltwater behind and under the tank took 2 days for it to finally spill over the edge of the stand and when it did luckily I was home it went right on the outlet and what a noise and fireworks display.

I silicones the support on after that and never had another problem, I like my tanks full to the trim no gap to see the lights and equipment. If you plan to do that with eclipse make sure the rim is sealed.

It's a wonder they haven't burnt anyones house down.

I never saw the puddle either it was a unique situation everything was just right.
