i recently aquired an anemone from a friend who made the mistake of purchasing it for his freshwater tank. Some people think it's a sebae but i'm leaning towards a bubble anemone. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah...positive its a BTA. No offense but how can you be that unknowledgable to buy an organism that you have no idea what it is let alone care for it...never mind. Make sure it has a pretty strong currrent, high lighting, and good water quality. Feeding some mysis over it once and a while wont hurt.

well, depending on depth of tank and the type of lighting, its generally 8-10wpg i believe....that said, BTAs can do well with considerably less...more in the 5wpg range...if they are in the upper area of the tank. target feeding with things like silversids, shrimp, and shellfish will help it out a lot...weekly is waht is generally reccomended
