hi everyone i just started my tank and i'm planning on making it a descent reef tank. so i have two question, what kind of anemones are best for beginners and and are t5 ho lights enough to keep anemones thriving?

No anemone is good for a new tank! IMO Bta's seem to be the strongest but wait till ur tanks been up for at least 6 months+

Also, anemones will sting your corals. If it's a small tank, it's going to be a choice of either corals or an anemone.

my tank is a 55 gallon with live rock and live sand

then what should i tell you about it

we need to know what type of equipment you have on it, lighting.....powerheads, skimmer, amount of live rock etc. these are important in determining suitability. Anemones are best left to those that have well established mature stable tanks
