angelfish stripes fading?

hey,

my angelfish's stripes seem to fade off and on, one min they will be bright black and then the next they will almost fade away leaving a light outline, is this normal? i googled it and it came up with somthing to do with the lighting may be at fault but they fade and come back weather the light is on or not?

yeah it's normal. It's stress or some other reaction that the fish is having to the world. Like when people blush. Watch your tank, see if he is trying to mate, or if someone is beating on him, could also be a dog or something going on outside your tank.

Honestly if your fish has been doing ok and isn't beat up I wouldn't worry about it.
