Angelfish with a cloudy eye

#1
My angelfish has developed a cloudy eye. Its not protruding, but i can tell by the way that he's been acting that he can't see out of it. It looks like a cataract. Is this a treatable disease? Would melafix be something that would help it? I'm at a loss.

He's eating, and active. I actually didn't notice it right away, cause he always looks at me with his good eye. But a friend noticed tonight that there was something wrong with it :(

If the cloudiness has cleared up, I'd stop treating, but maybe keep a very close eye on him (no pun intended) in case any kind of infection starts back up. I guess it's possible he won't regain his vision in that eye, but it's hard to say. Most fish do fine with only one working eye. :)
