angelfish

3 of my angelfish got a little cut(split a little) on the top of their dorsal fin.
what can i do??

Treat with melafix, make sure your water quality is top notch, and pray Watch for further deterioration, make sure its not the start of fin-rot.

Can also happen if you have VERY hard water (like mine 400ppm here) although it's only affecting one of my angels, not the others, for unknown reasons. For that there is no real cure, other than softening the water.

Waterchanges and Melafix should do the trick. Actually, waterchanges alone will do the trick. All the melafix does is help prevent secondary infection while the fins heal in PRISTINE water.
