No, bought them locally as little guys, about the size of a quarter. They're growing quickly though.

So about the next day after these pictures were taken, I came home and had to remove five of the angels - I officially have a pair. And I must have been really not paying attention for a couple days, because I came home to find a large group of wrigglers on a leaf, didn't even notice eggs prior to that.

Whats your secret to fast growing angels? I want mine to grow up fast so they can breed sooner!!!

No secret...proper tank size, feeding, and regular water changes (aka good water quality). My water is also perfect for South Americans, very low pH, GH, and KH, dunno if that helped or not.

Just got a few myself and i have a gold ones as well (bought a the LFS). They are very friendly in my tank as well. GOOD LUCK!

Eh, we'll see. I probably will once I clear out the crayfish babies, so I can use that tank as the grow out - since it's the only spare tank I have. I'll leave them with the parents for a little bit though.
