another cory?

i lost two tetras and instead of replacing them i thought i might get another cory. thoughts?

Corys are much happier in schools, preferably of the same type of cory. I've learned the hard way myself. I have 3, 2 pandas and 1 skunk. The pandas, while they aren't as active as some I've seen, are doing okay. The poor skunk doesn't move much, rarely swims with the pandas.

I plan to taken the skunk back to the LFS and get another couple pandas at the least.


But, the size of your tank isn't great for most corys. The exception might be the dwarf/pygmies, C pygmaeus, C habrosus, and C hastatus. I'd check with the AqAdvisor first.

I would not add any more fish. You are very overstocked as it is, and you're other fish will suffer if you add another cory. The two tetras died for a reason, and if you want to keep your other fish alive, do not add any more fish.

don't do it. it's still really overstocked, those neons were just lightening up the bioload. Really, you should either get rid of most of your fish or get a bigger tank
