Corys are much happier in schools, preferably of the same type of cory. I've learned the hard way myself. I have 3, 2 pandas and 1 skunk. The pandas, while they aren't as active as some I've seen, are doing okay. The poor skunk doesn't move much, rarely swims with the pandas.

I plan to taken the skunk back to the LFS and get another couple pandas at the least.


But, the size of your tank isn't great for most corys. The exception might be the dwarf/pygmies, C pygmaeus, C habrosus, and C hastatus. I'd check with the AqAdvisor first.
