seriously? that's awful. Of course I don't know why I'm surprised. We don't have petcos here but of course we have brilliant petsmart selling pacus and id sharks for like 4.99.

oh they are very cool- I like the albinos a lot- but like you said, not well suited for most home aquariums.

I was in Wal-Mart the other day and found Pacu's in one of their tanks with a sign under it stating they were peaceful and suitable for a community only reaching 3-4 inches..... I only have two words for that YEAH RIGHT..... I have seen them in the Aquarium down here in New Orleans and they were big enough to eat a small dog or cat. Some of these LFS have either completely stupid people working there or a awful sense of humor.
