Another Newbie!

Hi all,

I am a new fish lover and I must say it is very addicting. Now for a little about myself, my name is David my girlfriend and I are in this together (she works at a pet store) her name is Keri. We both are in college right now and enjoy both reptiles of many kinds and of course fish. Cichlid's to be more precise. As of right now we have 2 Jack Dempsey's 1 Black Convict, and my favorite the Red Devil. All are babies and will either be seperated into multiple tanks as they grow or into one very large one. Talk to you all around the boards.

No pics as of yet - they're just lil' babies but one Jack is getting considerably larger than the other.

welcome to the tank! I see you and your girlfriend have good taste in fish choice! I love convicts! And your handle, "Stratusfaction" How did you think up that name? (you don't have to answer that! I just like to talk a lot)

Stratusfaction (call me lame but I love cars and hooking them up and going to car shows, etc.) I drive a '99 Dodge Stratus and it is hooked up so to speak so I came up with the name for my car "Stratusfaction" kinda like satisfied - you know? And I use it on a car enthusiast site and so I figured why not here too?

how big are your JDs?

Not big at all, between 1-2" if even at 2" yet. One is wayyyyyyy darker than the other though - kind of odd looking and that's the one with the attitude.

I couldn't tell you which is male or female - although I would speculate that myself.
