I started keeping fish few months ago and already had a parasite fiasco. Right now, I have a 20G tank with small swordtails and some plants and want to add more fish and plants in the near future. Any suggestion?

Hmm... try some tetras, i suggest around 5 black tetras. Nice active fish. For plants try adding so Hygrophilia Polysperma, this plant grows like crazy and is very hardy. Welcome aboard!

Coyote, Hygrophilia polysperma is commonly known as Dwarf Hygrophilia. According to my Baensch aquarium atlas it is supposed to be a very good all around plant, able to adapt to different conditions, but does best in water of average temperature.
KH: 2-15 pH: 6.5-7.5 T: (20-30 C)
