any advice on good medication?

Just was wondering if anyone knows of what is the best medication for all kinds of diseases, parsites, infection? And which one won't hurt the plants of the use of a particular medication?

I have just had great success in using Myxazin, one of my serpae tetra had a slight case of popeye and also what looked like a mild bit of fungus on his dorsal and caudal fin. After 4 days its nearly all cleared up.
This was my first expierience with any medication so i am open to criticism.

There isn't one medicine for every disease. Some will cure a number of diseases. Most will say on them if they harm plants or not.
