I have my 110g tank up and running but no fish yet. I did get a mixture of 9 plants to start while I was waiting to get the heat up in the tank.
I bought the tank second hand and it did not come with a lid as it was being used for turtles. I bought a piece of plexiglass and have it in place. So right now I have 2 20w lights that are sitting directly on the plexiglass. I know that is not enough for the plants but does anyone have any ideas of how to get enough light without melting the plexiglass??
