Anyone ever hear of a fish called a piersi?

I purchased a fish from my local petstore that they were calling it a Piersi and I can not find any information on it anywhere on the web. I am spelling it the same way they were because I wrote it down but possibly it is their spelling mistake. I will post a picture of it in a while. Thanks

The piersi section sounds like a species name. Any idea of the genus (type of fish)? It should probably be spelled piersii (the normal way the surname Piers -- the person who discovered the fish -- is written in Latin).

I think its a cichlid. I've heard of a tilapia sp sounding like that but it dosen't look like it.
