Anyone have experience with AmQuel Plus?

How is it? My main interest in this product is that it claims to remove nitrates. My tap water comes out with about 10 ppm already, so this looks like a possble solution. I just wish I didn't have to use something else (like NovAqua) to get it to do all that StressCoat does.

well...ive used amquel for cholorine removal and it does that as far as i can tell...as for the nitrates i have no clue....i guess i could take some tank water and dump some amquel in it and see if the nitrates go down if you would like me to?

I think its pretty good stuff. I don't use it anymore, but the tap water where i'm at now is really good or else I probablyy would still be using it.

If your tap is at 10ppm NO3...may I ask do you drink that water??? that is the upper limit of drinkability I think. Are you rural? S Illinois?
