Hi again!
Well I was wondering about this product, i use their other product which is a water conditioner, but this product i'm not very familiar with. If anyone can tell me something about it, because it claims to keep the tank biologically balance for six months claiming that you don't have to change the water for six months...is that really true, that you won't change the water for six months??? its hard to believe, well, if someone can tell me something about it, pls give me your input. Thank you!

There is another thread about this topic somewhere.... I am not sure where.  It is kind of like hagen's cycle or stress zyme.  You can use it but I would still be doing your water changes.

The product isn't truely made out of snake oil, Josh is just being sarcastic<G>.  He means there is no point to using the stuff, especially the claim that it can help prolong the water change process.  Nothing can ever put off a water change, they're part of having a fish tank just like picking up dog crap on the sidewalk is part of having a dog. Tetra has a good website that can give you wantever product information on Easybalance that you want.

There are tons of product in the market in the aquarium industry that we really don't need in a freshwater setup.  I would say that at least 99% of the product is not necessary or worthless.
There are so many alternatives to naturally change your tank (pH?/salinity/hardness, etc.) that can be done without chemicals bought at the LFS.

When I think of water conditioner, I keep thinking that some poor fish is getting his hair done. *celebratesmiley*
