Anyone know anything on the Kribensis fish????

I saw some Kribensis, and they looked really cool. Almost seemed like they had markings a little bit similar to the rams, but they're shaped longer and not so big of fins.

Anyways, just wanted to find info on them, I'm having some trouble finding.

Also are they fin nippers, would they eat an ADF?, are they real territorial?

Generally peaceful, but they'll breed quickly and they can be vicious defending their fry (they're good parents).

They are cichlids, so they can be territorial...especially while breeding. Woe is to anything that is bottem dwelling while they breed. And yes they could be considered potential fin nippers.

Pelvicachromis pulcher - Breeding

There is a link on how to breed them, that is all i can find. I have kept kirbs before and they were really peacful!

I had a breeding pair for a couple of years. Very easy to breed, I used to trade the young ones for fish food at the LFS. Very colorful and got along with everyone to a point.
