Last week I had two bamboo shrimp and on saturday I looked into the tank and saw that one was perched on a plant on not moving. "He must be prepairing to shed his skin." I thought.
Sure enough. I came in a while later and discovered that him shedding his skin. So I took pics.
The problem is that when I left him to his busness and came back a little while later to see if he'd finished, I found that my long-finned rosy barbs were eating him! Naturally I was mad about this, but what could I do other than remove the body? Well, now I have one shrimp remaining and I want to replace the eaten one, BUT I don't want them to be eaten. Is there anyway that I can prevent it from happening again? Other than not getting the shrimp or getting rid of either the fish or the shrimp. I would appreciate the advice.
