Just got my first one and I gotta question.

The instructions indicate the first drop of the KH test will turn blue. Does this mean the drops in the KH bottle should be blue? Because mine are orange.

The instructions indicate the first drop of the GH test will turn orange. Does this mean the drops in the GH bottle should be orange? Because mine are blue.

I am wondering if my instructions are wrong or if my bottles are mis-labeled.

No, it means that the water in your test tube will turn color after the first drop of test solution is added.

The stuff in the bottles should never change color while still in the bottle. If they do you're looking at contamination.

If anyone has this test kit I need to know the following:

If you look inside your GH bottle, what color do you see?

If you look inside your KH bottle, what color do you see?

With my gh I see a greenish color.
With my Kh I see a orange color. Mine are the older ones though, but i am getting a newer set that should arrive wednesday.
