Apistogrammas

Is it recommended to have a pair of Apistogrammas rather than one? Are they more aggressive singularly? I don't have much experience with them at this point.

Do you have a species in mind? Some do fine alone, some like to be in groups.

Well, I found one store that can order an agassizi for me....are they ok on their own?

In the most instances that i've seen them they were always in a male and female pair.
