apistos borellii

i have a unihabited 10g and i would like to know if this fish would be ok for it.  i am looking for an easy drawf cichlid for this tank and possibly to breed them.  if this is not a good choice can u please suggest one.  i have never kept apistos before and find them intriging(sp?)  peace

They would be a good choice.  Try to go to quality when buying the fish.  Dark bottom, some plants, wood, or rocks for cover, moderately acid, soft water and enjoy

Yes, Boreilli, Agasazzi, and Cacatuoides are you best speicies choice for apistos. You can probably keep a male and two females if you have lots of rocks, caves, plants and other things to hide in. The best way to get your hands on some is to go to your favorite mom & pop dealer and get them to order some for you. Be VERY specific with what you want, cause if you said "I want Apistogramma Cacatuoides," they could give you wild, double red, triple red, or even wild blue.
