Apollo is a glass banger!

He's the most aggressive little betta I have ever seen. I caught him totally "glass banging" last night, and tried to get some pics of it tonight.

This one is terribly out of focus, but you can see him attacking the glass

Hehe. I love the last picture. Maybe he'll calm down a bit when he gets used to his new home? I've always read that a bit of flaring and aggressive behavior is good for bettas. Just so long as they don't do it all the time and stress themselves out. I wish I could find this type of betta in my local area, we mostly get veil tails and some crown tails that aren't all that impressive looking.

No way, he'd likely slaughter her. He's not getting a girlfriend until he shows me he's calmed down

Better put a cave in there so he can have some privacy!

my bettas like it when i tape up a live sized picture of a female betta on the side of the tank, they start building bubble nests within a couple of days usually
