Ok i have almost completed the assembly of the DIY Sterilizer that Diablo has posted on MFT. I have tested the powerhead it works does not leak and seals are good. What i need to know is how to block the air hose connection? If i don't plug it water comes out of that hole but if i plug it the powerhead works fine. I don't want to attach any airhose as it is only pushing water through my sterilizer. Does anyone know a good way to seal the hole without stopping it from working correctly?

You mean the venturi hole?

Options:

Tape it shut
Find a CLEAN eraser bit and shove it in
Use some silicone.

yea the venturi hole... sorry it is my first powerhead learning as i go with it.

Will the eraser erode under water?

If its a brand new one check the box again , they should have given you a plug , I almost threw mine out .

Hagen, I believe, does not come with venturi plugs...

I have a tube that connects to it, but the end has a rubber screw/plug type thing... it leaks this is used PH so need to find fix. Will probably use silicone idea as i have some readily available.
