AquaClear110 Filter Users - help me w/ a Question

I am going to make a DIY refugium for my 10 Gal SW Nano out of an AquaClear HOB - but what I need to know is - Is it possible for the impeller on the 110 model to be replaced with a smaller one? Or is there a knob to adjust the water flow?
The regular flow would be too much in a 10gal.

hmm...not entirely sure since I dont have that filter...but I think like with most HOB's the impeller is specific to that filter model and if there is any flow regulations its done through a seperate knob/handle etc.

Thanks Froggy. I actually figured it out today - you can change out the impellers on the AC70 but not the 110. So I think I am going to go with the 70 for my fuge.

I have a AC 110 but I have never looked at the impeler. Probably the best way would be clip the ends so the blades are shorter or grind down the top so that it has less depth. But this could break your filter so do at your own risk
