Aquarium Lighting + Filtration

I thought of putting a red light in my aquarium...

Havent heard of anyone using it before...

I just want to know how will it affect my two black moor goldfish...

And, I was thinking of buying a new filter for my tank...what is the best kind of filter?

what is the size of tank, anything else in tank besides fish? any other fish? you can go for submersible filter or HOB (hang on back of tank) filter which is easy to clean.

Are you buying online? or LFS, the local fish shop will guide you if you tell them how many gallon is your tank.

No other fish...the tank is 35 gal...

I already have a UGF and an internal filter...

I could buy online...but dont if the equipment would be shipped to pakistan...

I was thinking of buying a HOB filter...

I use a red fluorescent light on my tanks at night and have no problems with any fish.

Doesnt that mess with the sleep cycle of the fish?
