I'm looking for a 65 gallon bowfront or flat back hex tank. Does anyone know a site that has one? I found a 65 gallon with deminsions 36x18x24, but it's just a rectangle.

It's hard to get glass tanks that large online since they're a PITA to ship.

Have you tried calling Big Als?

I would, especially if you only need the tank and not the equipment.

It's just not worth it the cost of shipping a glass tank that large

Thanks Lorna, great site. It's been a while since I've been on there, but what about using acrylic? Is it worth it?

I don't think I would use acrylic for a small tank of that size as the disadvantages would outweigh the advantages of acrylic.

Well, I found a 65 rectangle sized tank with an overflow from thatpetplace.com. I just have to drive there and get it. I like the 90g tall on the site, but it's 31" high. I assume that would be a problem with lighting and cleaning?

Yes, the tall tanks are more of a challenge to light and clean.
