who makes the nicest ones?
where can I get them online?

tank is a 15g long
not many pet shows in the area (KOP, PA)
been to petco and there stuff looks pretty ghetto for 15g tanks
Their 29g stuff is a hair better...I have a 29 at my parents house so I might just use the 29g stand for now with a board on it and my 15 on it...
but I'm convinced there are nicer stands out there then what petco has.
Any links?

PS, no I'm not gonna make my own, so don't even suggest it!
I dont' mind paying 20x as much for one that looks good:)

Definately! A real wooden stand made by a cabinet maker is going to better than any of that particle board w/ plastic crap that your find at the chain stores.

I had my dad make a stand for my 44gal. The thing is sturdy as heck. You could set an elephant on it. Ok well maybe not but it is still very sturdy.

What are the dimensions of your 15g?

Did you try Frazer Zoo? Frazer zoo has a nice aquarium section. They may have some nice stands. Or at least the guy there might be able to help ya out.

Where exactly do you live? Is there a Petsmart in KOP? There is one in Delaware. Go straight down 202. Petsmart has some nice stands.

hey flex!
yah I'm right down by the mall in KOP.
There is a petsmart there...its stuff is ok...but doesn't look great.

where is Frazer Zoo? I'm assuming that isn't really a zoo? *LOL*

how much you think a cabinet maker would charge for a stand like that?
like a 15g? I think its 24x14 ish...something like that....
another gripe I have is typical stands are a little short for my personal taste....so maybe that would be the way to go!

flex, the petsmart there on 202 has an 8" blue crayfish for like 20$, its awesome looking!
thats a great deal for one that size, unfortunately in a small tank like mine it would devour everything *LOL*
if I had a 75+ I'd get it! they are the COOLEST addition to a tank in the world as they climb plants and parachute off to catch fish (which NEVER works)

I'm fairly handy with tools, and have built 3 stands in the past, unfortunately this time I'm living in an apartment and no longer have the tools need to make one.
not to mention mine always come out a little unfinished as I'm so eager to get a tank started *hahahahhah*
thats kinda why I'm looking for online places that might deliver something!

unless someone out there wants to build me one?!
I'm near philly if anyone wants to think about it!

By the mall, eh? Outstanding. I work in Malvern and live in Aston (down by I-95).

Frazer Zoo is on Rt. 30 in Frazer. Go south on 202 to Rt. 30. Go east on Rt. 30. Go a few of miles on 30 until you see a shopping center on your left that has an Atlanta Bread Company and a Clemens supermarket. It's in there.

I'm not sure what Frazer Zoo has as far as stands go. It's mostly a petshop with dogs and cats. But they have a really nice fish section. It looks like the guy there takes really good care of the fish. I talked to him for a few minutes and he seemed quite knowledgable.

Are you looking for an aquarium stand or a stand that can hold an aquarium. How about some type of nice furniture that can accomodate a fishtank? I have a TV stand that holds a 29g. It works for me.
