Aquariusol

Well, my 29 has had an outbreak of velvet. I raised the temp to 83, added 1 tsp salt per 5 gal, and bought aquarisol. Few questions- Does anyone out there have any experience with aquarisol? Also, how long does it usually take to rid the tank of velvet? Lastly, does anyone know if aquarisol will make the tank recylcle? If the tank does try to recycle would bio-spira help ( i have enough for 20 gallons left)? Thanks!

It shouldn't make your tank recycle. I used it once for ich a while back. If you're not seeing any improvement in a few days, you might want to think about doing a large water change and switching meds.

They are not scratching as much, but I can still see the gold dust. If the aquarisol doesn't work, have you used anything that might work better? Thanks for the help!
