As you all know that this was running in the 29G for a few months then temporarily in the 10G. Today, I've noticed that the filter was off when I was about to move it to the 55G. It wasnt plugged in. I guess that it happened today. Are the bacterias in there still alive or all destroyed?

I think they did dried out completely. I'm not sure how much water was in the compartment. I hope they are still alive. It wasnt an intentional murder.

On that thought, what is the average lifespan for bacterias?

If they did dried out completely, what do I do? Get another filter pad and bio fiber?
