Has anyone used one of the Aqueon Evolves? The reviews I find are mostly good, and they certainly look good. Supposedly the light on it is okay for lower / mid light plants - can anyone confirm that? I'm thinking of getting a small planted tank going (easy plants - would be my first attempt). I would not be looking to get into CO2 at all.
On to the main question - the Evolve 8 is actually about 7g. Is that enough space to comfortably house 4-6 pygmy cories, a sparkling gourami or scarlet gem badis, and some cherry shrimp? If not, I'll hold off and maybe do my 20L as a planted tank with that combo plus some celestial danios once my SW is upgraded to the 40B. But this may be an attractive and cheaper option than upgrading the lighting on the 20L.
Thanks!
