Are gourmai easy fish?

I'd love to have a gourami, but is it a good fish? Is there any special needs for this fish? I'd love to know!

They're fairly easy to keep. The only thing to bear in mind is that they like to be the only gourami in the tank. Males will fight each other.

On the other hand, pearls are pretty peaceful.

I was only planning on getting 1 (dwarf) gourami, so i guess I'm good!
I hear all dwarf gouramis are the same, only marketed under different names... Is this true??
